Icoon opens into a full double flower in glowing red and orange, with yellow tracing the petal tips. It brings a welcome burst of warmth to mid- and late-spring plantings and looks lovely gathered into a simple, colorful bunch.
- Type: Double late
- Bloom season: Mid- to late spring
Planting and care
Plant in fall in a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Set bulbs pointed end up, about two to three times their height deep, with at least twice their width between bulbs. Store bulbs in a cool, dry place until planting. Outdoor bloom timing varies with climate and weather.
For cutting, harvest when the bud shows color but has not fully opened.
