Dahlia Platinum Blonde

The Dahlia Season that Almost Wasn't

November 07, 2023

This year's dahlia season faced major setbacks due to weather damage, leading to a significant loss of our field crops. However, we've managed to nurture a select range of varieties in our protective tunnels. These circumstances mean a more limited selection for our upcoming annual tuber sale on November 12th, with priority given to our healthy tunnel-grown dahlias. Despite fewer quantities, we remain committed to offering diverse, quality dahlias and will provide immediate nationwide shipping/pick up, with spring shipping as an option.

Lisianthus Flower Varieties

Moments in May

June 05, 2023

The month of May is always intense, between Mother's Day and spring plantings. There's no sense of time, and the days merge together. Spring fever is at its height, and while it is all very exciting, it's pressing, and the farm (and family) need all the attention they can get. I've been light on socializing and stepped away from the newsletter and blog to navigate this ship, so let's catch up.

Our tulip fields, bursting with vibrant colors, are a sight to behold. We take great pride in the quality of our flowers, ensuring that each one is carefully and lovingly tended to throughout its lifecycle. As we walk through the rows of tulips, we select the best and brightest blooms to be cut, gently removing them at the base of the bulb, so they maintain their ideal height for filling vases.
