Milkshake has a classic tulip shape in pink, neatly outlined with white. The light edges make each flower easy to pick out in a planting and give this simple form a little extra charm.

Planting and care

Plant in fall in a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Set bulbs pointed end up, about two to three times their height deep, with at least twice their width between bulbs. Store bulbs in a cool, dry place until planting. Outdoor bloom timing varies with climate and weather.

For cutting, harvest when the bud shows color but has not fully opened.
