Deejay Parrot makes a lively finish to the tulip season with red petals edged in creamy white. As the ruffled flowers open wide, their bold markings and loose shape give each bloom plenty of personality.
- Type: Parrot
- Bloom season: Late spring
Planting and care
Plant in fall in a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Set bulbs pointed end up, about two to three times their height deep, with at least twice their width between bulbs. Store bulbs in a cool, dry place until planting. Outdoor bloom timing varies with climate and weather.
For cutting, harvest when the bud shows color but has not fully opened.
