Reflections on Our 100% Local Valentine’s Flowers in New England

As I look back on this past week, I’m overflowing with gratitude and awe. Last year marked our first Valentine’s offering of 100% locally grown flowers—a dream that once felt so distant. Now, standing in a tunnel of February blooms feels both familiar and miraculous, proof of how much we’ve grown in just one year.

dancing in a flower shopLeading up to Valentine’s, the farm buzzed with a joyful energy as we harvested and arranged armfuls of blooms brimming with care. While it may look like work to others, to us it’s pure delight—each bouquet is a chance to share a little love from our farm to someone’s home.

Farm-to-table took on a whole new meaning when visitors arrived just as fresh buckets of blooms were coming in—truly farm-to-table in every sense! Early birds showed up, new faces discovered the magic of locally grown flowers, and longtime friends reminded us just how much it all means.

Transforming this land, growing flowers in winter, and watching our community embrace them has been a true labor of love.

To everyone who visited, preordered, spread the word, or cheered us on—thank you. You are the heart of this farm, and your support means more than words can say.

Here’s to love, growth, and community—and to cherishing the moments that matter most.
